3rd Quarter: The Chargers opened the half up with a five minute drive, leaning heavily on the legs of Jordan Whitaker. The drive went 60 yards but again stalled at the four yard line after the Bengals forced the turnover on downs. The Chargers did get in the end zone once, but the touchdown was negated by a holding penalty. End of 3rd: Chargers 6 Bengals 0.
4th Quarter: The fourth quarter provided much excitement. Bengal quarterback Chase Thompson took the offense to the air, throwing for almost 60 yards. Brent Swalick (#9) led the Bengals in receiving catching all but 1 pass. The heroic comeback attempt by Thompson and Swalick fell just short as a Bengal fumble ended a possible scoring drive. The Bengal defense, led by leading tackler Drew Hallenback (#4), kept the Chargers out of the end zone in the 2nd half but could not put a score on the board. Bengals fall just short with the final score: Chargers 6 Bengals 0.
